I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 16 years with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I offer a trauma informed approach with training in multiple evidence based treatments for treating trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD. I have some history working with clients who have an eating disorder. I have been also trained to incorporate equine-assisted psychotherapy techniques. I offer individual, family and couples therapy. I am also looking at offering group therapy in the future.

Sherri is an experienced therapist who works with individuals and families who have experienced trauma and are dealing with symptoms including depression, anger, anxiety, PTSD. She creates a calm, relaxing, playful environment for children, teens, and adults.

Therapy can be enjoyable even when deal with difficult situations and emotions.

Sherri is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye-Movement and Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma (ITCT), Equine Assisted Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EA-EMDR), Equine Assisted Psychotherapy techniques, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Sherri enjoys working with clients of all ages 3 to 100 helping them use sensory and creativity to develop healthy coping skills. She has over 16 years of experience.
